MAGD, Batch III
Overseas Trip
Students of Batch III of the MAGD Programme visited South Korea and Malaysia from 16 to 31 August 2009. Professor Dr. Emdadul Haq, MAGD Programme Coordinator, accompanied the students during the tour to Korea and Dr. Rizwan Khair, Academic Coordinator joined the group during their tour of Malaysia. The study tour team visited South Korea from 16 to 22 August 2009 and Malaysia from 22 to 31 August 2009. The team attended sessions on economic development, public management and change management issues of South Korea and Malaysia. In South Korea, academic sessions were addressed by scholars from KDI School of Public Policy and Management and other local Universities, while in Malaysia by scholars from the Institute of Professional Development under Open University of Malaysia. Besides academic sessions, the team also visited ministries, government offices, places of economic development and public administration in both the countries.
